Please find below the instructions to login to your Busroot account and then instructions to configure and setup each of the devices. The Busroot team will advise you ahead of time what will be required by you, or your team.
To login you need to click on this link and enter your work email address:
You will then receive an email with a link. Click on the link and it will immediately open your Busroot account. There is no password required.
This is how anyone that needs to access Busroot will be able to.
Once you have completed please let me know so I can make you an Admin, so you have full access to your account. It's required for the next section.
To configure the devices you will need an android device or laptop running Chrome Browser.
You will need to have your Busroot account open on one tab, and our programming tool open on a separate tab. The link to the programming tool is here:
In your Busroot account (once you are an admin) you will see the Admin section at the bottom of the left-hand menu bar. In that section select Devices (I have attached a screenshot). This is where you will find the information required for the programming tool. You can then follow the instructions at the top of web programming tool to configure each piece of hardware.
Important
There will be four digits written on each Arduino. These are the last four digits of the device ID. Make sure you’re reprogramming the correct device and the device ID's match.
Set the ModBus (energy meter) to 001
Hold down 'E' button to enter configuration mode. Pass code is 1000 by default.
Set the address of the device. Must be less than 16 and unique compared to other devices connected to the same Opta DAU. If there is only 1 energy meter connected to an Arduino, it can be left as 001. If a second is connected you will need to go into the menu (in the picture above) and set it to 002.
Set Baud Rate to 19.2k
Please share a photo of the wiring, the baud screen and address screen for each device
