# Implementation

**Connectivity requirements to use Busroot**

* To check the WiFi signal it is best to stand next to each machine and use one of the following apps to monitor signal strength
 * ANDROID: <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=abdelrahman.wifianalyzerpro&hl=en>
 * IOS: <https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ubiquiti-wifiman/id1385561119>
* Things that will be helpful for us to know:
 * Existing IT infrastructure: what is the IT infrastructure that the company is currently using?
 * Security: what are the requirements of the IT department for allowing devices to connect to servers of cloud-based service providers?
 * Customization: are there any special needs that you should keep in mind before creating a new connection?

## What hardware will you need and do we provide it?

Shipping hardware

* Information about all of the hardware devices we use and work well with Busroot can be found here: [link to Gitbook hardware](https://output-industries.gitbook.io/busroot/hardware)
* Once we determine the implementation of Busroot for your production process, we ship the required hardware. You will receive it in 1-2 business days if you are in the UK and 3-4 business days if you are anywhere else.
* The hardware to ship is usually our IoT devices
* Hardware not included in the Busroot setup are TV screens, Firesticks or Chrome boxes.

## Installation

* If you have an in-house maintenance or engineering team we can share information to support the installation.
* If you do not have an in-house to complete the installation we can put you in-touch with one of our installation partners to carry-out the installation.
* We find 5 machines can be installed in one day with minimal impact to production. Machine downtime depends on entering the cabinets we need to install. Some can be entered without needing to power down the machine. If the machine does need to be powered down then a rough estimate is between 5-15 minutes.

We have prepared a guide to help you complete the machine information requested [in this link](https://output-industries.gitbook.io/busroot/customer-onboarding).

Should you require further specifications regarding the hardware, they can be found [in this link](https://output-industries.gitbook.io/busroot/hardware).

**Information needed to setup your Busroot account**

* For Busroot to work properly and track your production in real-time, you will need to enter your products and other information into Busroot. The information we need according to your production is:
* Products and cycle times – If you have more than 10 products, we can help you enter the information faster by importing them to Busroot. [Link to template](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PZd_Rep6-zSDtbCgBZL4gisr8o3i7vqo/view?usp=drive_link)
* Downtime reasons - [Link to template](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NUcF6AV67zheM9jhqkZ5Ry1rgEgUVW0b/view?usp=drive_link)
* Schedules - [Link to template ](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_AU3osacAhIRlN6b_1e4YGtjqHOhLQ1f/view?usp=drive_link)
* Operator names:
 * [Here is the link](https://eu-west-2-2.busroot.com/auth/login) to sign in with your email address
 * Use your email work address and then it will send a login link to your email. When you click on that link you will have access to your Busroot platform.
 * We can send simple templates to complete so you can upload all of your information at once and avoid manual input.

**Is there a specific way to install hardware for the manual welders?**

You can find a guide to installation for manual welders[ here](https://output-industries.gitbook.io/busroot/hardware/energy-meter-3-phase).
