# Asset Utilisation + Downtime Detection

Under ADMIN in your Busroot Menu please follow these steps to setup your account to monitor asset utilisation and downtime detection: 

STATION

1. Set Productive Status Mode to Explicit Productive signal
2. Set Downtime Detection to Utilisation Monitoring 
3. Assign a time (in minutes) you want downtime to be counted after each stoppage <br>

SCHEDULING

1. In order to monitor downtime a schedule needs to be running for each station. Following the steps in the Scheduling section, add a ‘Continuous’ type schedule. To understand the best way to schedule for your operations please go the Scheduling
